Radiesse
Radiesse is best thought of as an injectable gel-like “implant” that provides structure and contour, not just volume, to the face. It’s made up of calcium spheres whose chemical composition is very similar to calcium found in the body.
It’s great for areas like the cheeks, deeper nasolabial folds (the lines between the nose and mouth), and the temples. It is approved by the FDA, and will last for up to 1.5 years. One treatment is often sufficient.

BEFORE, DURING, AFTER TREATMENT
Avoid aspirin, NSAID medications, omega fish oils and alcohol for seven days before treatment as this will minimize the chance of any bruising. When you call to schedule an appointment, you’ll be given two times 45 minutes apart: the first will be to have the numbing cream applied which left on for over 30 minutes will make the procedure entirely comfortable. The second will be for the procedure itself. Dr. Steil is known for her go-slow approach which greatly reduces the chance of bruising so know that she’s going to take a few extra minutes with you.
Afterward, avoid working out for up to 24 hours, also to minimize bruising.
